I am a creative at the intersection of science, strategy, and story.

I lead campaign development, narrative strategy, and message architecture for high-science brands, distilling data into creative that shapes behavior. Over 13 years in healthcare advertising, I’ve won awards, contributed to winning pitches, driven organic growth, and mentored writers across audiences and channels.

I lead campaign creation, creative platform development, and omni-channel execution across multiple rare disease brands. I mentor writers, set creative standards, and protect the quality of the work through shifting priorities, lean resourcing, and complex stakeholder priorities. During my tenure, I’ve contributed to winning new business pitches, driven organic growth on my brands, and partnered with teams across geographies and time zones. (Sometimes, I prolong status meetings with a recurring, but irregular, series called “WhatTheFact.”)

I was the lead writer and brand owner for a novel UF treatment launch and a cardiovascular device portfolio; copy lead on brands as varied as medical aesthetics, fertility, and type 2 diabetes; and, for a while, the go-to copy chameleon for nearly every brand at the agency. (I also picked up the only sports trivia in my arsenal from constant exposure to rabid Philadelphia sports fans.)

I received a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of healthcare advertising across two radically different brands, learning the discipline of claims, nuance, and audience specificity, while occasionally being allowed to indulge my whimsy during pitch creative exercises. (This job also forced me to learn how to drive, spawning an enduring passion for urbanism.)
